Following The Snowvision NZ Alpine Youth Championships and Selection Camp, Snow Sports NZ are delighted to announce the Snowvision NZ Alpine Youth Squad.

A showdown in the Big Bucks Park was the perfect way to round out the competition season for NZ’s best young freeskiers and snowboarders. 

The 2019 Snow Sports NZ Junior Freestyle National Championship titles were awarded today following five spectacular days of freeski and snowboard competition at Cardrona

Freeskiers Gustav Legnavsky and Ruby Andrews achieved podium finishes in the ANC Halfpipe this morning.

The Snow Sports NZ Junior Freestyle Nationals wrapped up at Cardrona Alpine Resort today with U14 – U18 skiers and snowboarders throwing down in the 22ft Olympic halfpipe.

Day two at the 2019 Snow Sports NZ Junior Freestyle Nationals at Cardrona Alpine Resort saw ski competitors taking on the K2 Freeride.

It was a jam-packed schedule of events on day three of the Snow Sports NZ Junior Freestyle Nationals at Cardrona Alpine Resort today with competitors in action in the International halfpipe as well as on the slopestyle course.

Day two at the 2019 Snow Sports NZ Junior Freestyle Nationals at Cardrona Alpine Resort saw ski competitors taking on the K2 Freeride while snowboarders raced the gravity cross course in the Smith Snowboard Cross.

Opening day at the 2019 Snow Sports NZ Junior Freestyle Nationals saw competitors in Under-8 through Under-18 age categories enjoying the K2 Skier Cross and Smith Snowboard Freeride at Cardrona Alpine Resort.

The Snow Sports NZ Annual Awards Night were held at the Lake Wanaka Centre this evening. Snowboarder Zoi Sadowski-Synnott (Wanaka) was awarded the title of Overall Athlete of the Year.

Adam Hall claimed his fourth straight win of the QRC Winter Games NZ with gold in Slalom today while Corey Peters also added to his medal tally with a win in men's sitting Slalom.

The second day of the FIS ANC Cross-Country series presented by Forsyth Barr at Winter Games NZ saw athletes racing the clock in the demanding Freestyle Interval Start races.

NZ athletes made the most of the opportunity to compete at their home resort as part of the Winter Games NZ with Adam Hall winning the men's standing GS, Corey Peters second in the sitting and Gemma Fletcher third in women's sitting.
