16-year-old Wānaka freeskier Fin Melville Ives has finished in sixth place at the FIS Calgary Halfpipe World Cup, matching his career best performance.

Kiwi freeskier Ben Harrington (Wānaka, age 20) has finished in 7th place at the Snow Rodeo Freeski Halfpipe World Cup in Calgary this afternoon.

Nico Porteous has claimed his first Freeski Halfpipe World Cup medal of the 2021/22 season with a second-place finish at Copper Mountain, Colorado.

The southern hemisphere competition season is off to a good start for the NZ Park & Pipe team with freeskiers Jackson Wells and Ben Barclay claiming two medals apiece at ANC Big Air competitions in Australia.
