Austrian Youth Camp Scholarships Awarded

Snow Sports New Zealand is excited to announce Piera Hudson and Fraser Hannon have been selected to attend the 2013 International Ski Racing Youth Camp in Austria.

The Austrian Ski Federation has organised an International Youth Camp under the patronage of the International Ski Federation. The Austrian Ski Federation invited two athletes from New Zealand to attend the camp from the 4^th February to the 10^th February 2013. While many strong applications were received the Ski Racing NZ selection committee selected Piera and Fraser based on their results and FIS points in relation to their age.

"I am excited to be part of this once in a lifetime opportunity." "I am really looking forward to being at the World Champs and meeting the athletes" Fraser Hannon said. Piera Hudson also commented, "This is such a great opportunity, Austrian training facilities are some of the best in the world. I am also looking forward to meeting the other participants from around the world." 

The camp will include:

• Full-board accommodation in the area of Schlamdming
• Travel costs including return flights
• Visit to the Championship events
• Ski passes
• Coaching by qualified ski-instructors and coaches of the Austrian Ski Federation
• Youth Camp Programme (social, educational and cultural programme)
