Yongpyeong, Korea (17 January 2017) - NZ ski racers are hanging tough at the Far East Cup series being held at the venue for the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in Korea. Following on from Adam Barwood's ninth in Slalom yesterday, Willis Feasey has finished eighth in Giant Slalom. Both races carry the minimum penalty of 6 FIS points.
Competitors have been struggling on the icy course with an unusually high number of DNF results across both male and female fields. Adam Barwood finished 21st in the Giant Slalom.
