Heads Up - Event Time!

Happy New Year everyone, we hope you enjoyed a nice break wherever you are were the world. The northern hemisphere season has kicked off to a strong start for our athletes and we saw some great results pre-Christmas. Here is a quick heads up on the events to watch out for in the new year!

After a well deserved summer break, Willis and Adam are back into it on the European race scene, check out the update on Adam’s blog here and an update from Willis here. There have been some event cancellations due to lack of snow however one to put in the diary to watch is The Night Race. The race is held in Schladming, Austria and is one of the classics of the ski-world cup. For the night slalom at Planai, 50,000 visitors come directly to the pistes to watch. The size of the crowd creates an electric atmosphere for racers and audience members. The race is on January 26 and both Adam Barwood and Willis Feasy will be on the start line.

Jamie Prebble our ski-cross athlete has a mammoth task ahead with 8 events in 8 countries, check out his blog here for the latest.  Duncan Campbell our snowboard cross athlete is now into some serious on snow training (after some serious summer fishing action), keep up to date here.

Snowboarders Christy Prior and Carlos Garcia Knight are heading across to Europe to tackle the European Open shortly, follow Christy on Instagram here @christypriorand keep in the loop with Carlos here @carlosgk

X-Games will be rolling in to Aspen-town late January, always a spectacle and our crew Jossi, Byron and Beau-James Wells will be competing and Christy Prior and Janina Kuzma will be on deck too. To keep up to date follow the crew here.

Sam Smoothy and Charlie Lyons will be hitting the Freeride World Tour, with Hank Bilous and Sam Lee shaking up the Qualifiers. You can check out the FWT site here or get updates from Mr Smoothy himself here.

Our para boys Adam Hall, Carl Murphy and Corey Peters are training hard and each have World Cup events in their sights. After some European cancellations and some shuffling of the travel plans, Corey and Adam are eyeing up a World Cup event in Slovenia. Follow Corey here and Adam here. Carl is training hard for his first BX event in Big White. After a solid block of training, he will tackle his first comeback event post injury.
