Banski, Bulgaria (4 February 2017) - NZ snowboardcross racer Duncan Campbell (Queenstown) finished 22nd in the 2016-17 season's third snowboard cross World Cup race which was staged in Bansko (BUL) today.
The tour's sole sprint event featured interesting and exciting knock out heats.
"I had a good first heat advancing through the first round," explains Duncan. "The track softened up a lot compared with qualifications which changed whether to double or triple a couple of the jumps. I over shot the first wu tang and lost my speed in the second round and finished up 22nd but I'm still super happy with how I'm riding and with today's result."
