First Place for Willis Feasey in FIS Downhill

Aspen, USA (21 January 2015) - Ski racer Willis Feasey has claimed first place in the FIS downhill held in Aspen. His time of 1:14.17s put him 0.44s ahead of his nearest rival, Nicholas Mitchell of the USA and 0.52s ahead of third placed racer, Canada's Russell Ronsky. NZ's Colbey Derwin placed 13th.

"I'm really happy with today's result and hope I can be even faster in the rest of the speed races here," says Willis.

"Downhill is the most fun discipline for me to do because it is the scariest and fastest so it really gets the adrenalin pumping."

Eve Aspinall finished sixth out of 40 U16 ladies on the Aspen course,  her first ever downhill event.

Racing continues in Aspen until 23rd January. Results are available here
