Solitude, USA (19 January 2017) - The fastest snowboarders on the planet have descended on Solitude (USA) for the 2016-17 snowboard cross World Cup season's second stop. NZ's Duncan Campbell successfully qualified through to final rounds, finishing in 30th place in time trials with the top 48 fastest racers making the cut.
It's the first time in history that the host of the 2019 sbx world championships races has run World Cup competitions. However, the debut as a World Cup host features an individual snowboard cross race as well as a team event from January 19 to 22. Individual finals will take place on Saturday 21 January.
