Lake Wanaka, New Zealand (30 September 2015) – The final races in the NZ Youth Series were held at Cardrona Alpine Resort from Friday 25 – Sunday 27 September with competitors enjoying stunning conditions for the Super-G, Giant Slalom and Slalom. The overall series champions were presented with their awards after Sunday’s races.
Congratulations to U14 champions River Mutton (Wanaka Ski & Snowsports Club) and Blake Hartley (WSSC) and U16 champions Alice Robinson (QAST) and Ben Richards (WSSC).
A big thank you to the officials, volunteers, parents and competitors who helped make these events run so smoothly. We look forward to seeing you again next season. Congratulations also to all those athletes moving through to their first year of FIS racing next season, we wish you the best of luck.
