Paralympic skier Adam Hall was named Attitude Sport Performer of the Year at the Attitude Awards in Auckland on 29 November.
The Attitude Awards take place annually and recognise the achievements of New Zealanders with disabilities. 2012 marks the fifth year of the awards which are an offshoot of the Sunday morning TV One series, Attitude TV.
The award rounds out an outstanding year of achievements for Adam Hall who was also named New Zealand Snow Sports Athlete of the Year in July. In his most successful competition season so far Adam took gold in both slalom and Super G at the World Cup in Winter Park, Colorado and in Slalom and Super Combined at the World Cup Finals.
Snow Sports NZ Adaptive Manager, Jane Stevens, was delighted with news of Adam's award calling it "a fitting tribute to an athlete who continues to inspire all around him."
