Snow Sports NZ is excited to announce that Alice Robinson, Piera Hudson, Mikayla Smyth and Jack Adams will be representing New Zealand at the 2023 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Courchevel Méribel, France in early February.
Alice will be in action in almost every event at the World Champs, planning to start in Downhill, Super G, Giant Slalom and Alpine Combined. Piera will be competing in both of the technical events, Giant Slalom and Slalom.
17 year old Mikayla Smyth will be competing in Slalom at her World Championships debut. Mikayla has achieved strong Slalom results over the past 18 months and this is a great opportunity for her to benchmark herself against some of the best in the world.
