Blue Mountain, CAN (5 March 2017) – NZ ski cross racer Jamie Prebble has closed out his 2016/17 Audi FIS Ski Cross World Cup season with a strong result, finishing in 12th place.
His third top 12 result this season, Jamie says he’s “really happy with today and very pleased with where I am sitting heading into World Championships in ten days.”
The first round went well with Jamie winning the start and then holding off the hard-charging American and Swiss skiers. In his second round he got locked into third position and couldn’t quite close the gap to progress into the semi-finals.
