Biography

Isabel began skiing at the age of two up at Treble Cone ski field. Eager not to be missing out, she took part in her first Interfield race at 4 years old at Coronet Peak whilst having never skied around any gates.  It ended about halfway down the course but from from here there was no looking back.

Living in Wānaka, Isabel has grown up in the mountains, spending time with her family cycling, tramping, or kayaking on the lake.  A love for gymnastics meant a lot of time also spent upside down and competing regionally.  She continues to be supported by her local club to use their facilities to help now with her off snow training.

Isabel of course also spends a lot of time in the gym but has a passion for baking and cooking in general when there is a moment of down time.

Isabel aspires to represent New Zealand at the Junior World Championships and the World Championships, on the World Cup circuit and the Winter Olympics. She has always taken pride in representing her club internationally and values the support they continue to offer her.
