Biography

Chloe was born in Auckland and learnt to ski at Whakapapa, Mt Ruapehu. Being born in Auckland, most of her childhood winters from the age of four were spent at Whakapapa where she fell in love with the sport. The early days with her parents and brothers really shaped Chloe's love for skiing.

In 2015 Chloe competed in her first club ski races at the age of six, and even though she didn't fully understand racing at this stage she loved the atmosphere and community. She first started competing thanks to her older brother, watching him train at Whakapapa persuaded her to give it a go too.

In 2020 Chloe had her first season overseas in Austria. Alice Robinson is her biggest inspiration because Alice reached the World Cup at a young age and showed that Kiwi athletes can come from the Southern Hemisphere and still be the best in the world.

Chloe's ultimate dream goal is to compete on the World Cup circuit and represent New Zealand at the Olympic Winter Games.
