The Cardrona NZ Freestyle Nationals awards national titles in all age divisions from U8 – U16 and Open.
The open division compete in the plus size Big Bucks Park and Olympic Half Pipe and includes Slopestyle, Halfpipe and Big Air.
The Nationals is the best way for competitors to learn how to compete at a National level before being considered for New Zealand Teams and progressing towards international competition. This event also brings the freestyle snow sports community and families together to share the fun of skiing and snowboarding.

Competitors must choose to compete in either the ANC or the age divisions.
Athletes participating in the FIS ANC must have a valid FIS license and be a current Snow Sports NZ (membership costs $110).
How to enter:
Step 1 - athletes must first be entered through their federation on the official FIS entry form: emailed to [email protected]. Deadline: 5pm, 15th Sept
Step 2 - existing Snow Sports NZ members can log in and renew their membership here. New members must create an account here - once an account is created, click “add new membership” from the dashboard. Only athletes with a NZL passport should purchase a FIS licence. All other membership should cost $110.
Step 2: Snow Sports NZ members can then register and pay their entry fees via this page (registration button above). Deadline: 5pm, 22nd Sept
