The purpose of Peak Respect Snow-Pact is to set the standards of behaviours required by all people involved in Snow Sports NZ sanctioned events to create a safe, fun and respectful competition environment. This will protect our people, our reputation and ensure that Snow Sports NZ complies with our legislative requirements around safeguarding and health and safety.
From the 2024 season onwards, all involved in a Snow Sports NZ sanctioned event, including but not limited to athletes, coaches, officials and parents, will be required to agree and adhere to the Peak Respect Snow-Pact.
For those registering for an event on the Snow Sports NZ website, you will now find an additional step between the event registration and checkout where you will be required to agree to the six pillars of Peak Respect Snow-Pact to complete your registration.
For anyone else involved in a Snow Sports NZ event, we strongly recommend that you learn about and agree to the Peak Respect Snow-Pact via our quick and easy Sports Tutor e-learning module (link below) from the end of June.
