Cam has had a passion for skiing and ski racing since his early teens and competed from the age of 15 to 21. He was a member of the NZ Development Team and NZ B Team, training at Treble Cone in NZ and overseas in Taos and Park West in the USA, Silver Star in Canada, as well as several European resorts.
Cam has passed his enthusiasm for skiing on to his two children, who train with the QAST holiday programme and enjoy competing in the Interfield Series.
Over the years Cam has enjoyed seeing more and more young families getting involved with ski racing and, as a member of the ASC, would like to help continue that growth and further the establishment of pathways for young athletes, as well as encourage volunteers into official roles like Technical Delegates and coaching.
