Carol has been an Athlete Life Advisor with the Winter Performance Programme for a number of years. The Athlete Life Programme is a holistic programme that helps athletes maximise their performance in sport and life. The programme is built around the five foundations of Athlete Responsibility, Continuous Learning, Professionalism, Purposeful Planning and Effective Communication and is well integrated into our high performance programmes from National Development to Elite Podium.
Carol also works in the Performance Psychology delivery space with Dave Collins. In particular, focusing on the delivery of The HPSNZ Own the Moment Model for psychological performance, which is based around Foundation skills (identity, trust, growth mindset and ownership), Habits of Excellence (deep practice and consistency) and Performance Skills (mind-body management and attention).
