Stuart is the General Manager of Finance at Snow Sports NZ, where he oversees a wide array of financial functions, including management reporting, budgeting, risk management, and administration.
Originally from Wellington, Stuart embarked on his academic journey at Otago University, earning a Bachelor of Commerce in Accountancy. Stuart's professional trajectory has been marked by a series of significant roles, including serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Trade Me Ltd, and the General Manager of Business at Sport Manawatū.
Stuart's connection to the ski industry traces back to his early days as a ski instructor, a role that laid the foundation for his subsequent positions as the Finance Manager and eventually as the General Manager of Tūroa Ski Resort.
Stuart's passion for skiing was ignited at the age of nine when he joined a ski club at Whakapapa. His favourite overseas ski destinations include Jackson Hole and Red Mountain.
In addition to his love for skiing, Stuart participates in various racquet sports, including squash, tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Furthermore, Stuart is an avid enthusiast of board games and online gaming.
