Scott Palmer is the adaptive National Development Coach.
Scott Worked as an instructor for over 13 years in New Zealand and North America over this time he grew to love all aspects of skiing from freeride to Alpine. over this time he gradually transitioned to coaching. He coordinated the Adaptive program at Cardrona for three years before joining SSNZ in the build up to the 2022 Winter Paralympics. He is currently an active NZSIA examiner for Alpine and Adaptive and enjoys helping people develop new skills.
Scott grew up in Dunedin and spent most of his holidays in Queenstown and Wanaka where he developed his love of all things skiing. He has worked in the snowsports industry since 2008 where he trained through the Otago Polytechnic Instructor program and became a qualified instructor at Cardrona Alpine Resort.
