Britt joined the Snow Sports NZ team in August 2020 and is our Communications and Media Manager. Britt competed in her first Halfpipe Competition in 2011 and from then she was completely addicted, starting to compete year round while finishing her degree in Communications extramurally. Fast forward seven years and Britt was dropping into the PyeongChang Halfpipe as a member of the 2018 New Zealand Winter Olympic Team. When she hung up her ski boots she knew she wanted to stay within the industry she loved so much. Her role here at Snow Sports NZ requires a good understanding of the needs of a broad range of stakeholders and delivering information that is useful, digestible, current and interesting to a diverse audience through a variety of platforms. Britt crafts our social media, manages our press relationships and looks after all of our direct communications to our members and stakeholders through the website and newsletters. She works closely with the athletes to help them to enhance their profiles and understand and manage the media effectively. As Communications Manager Britt ensures people understand who we are, what we do and how we do it.
