Jane’s background in the business of sport spans over three decades. Most recently, Jane was the Chief Operating Officer (COO), NZ for the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023, the largest women’s sporting event in the world. During Jane’s career, she has led major events across New Zealand, Australia and the UK including, among others, the World Netball Championships, IRONMAN triathlon and UCI BMX World Championships, NZ Golf Open and marathons. She has held Executive leadership positions with International Management Group, IRONMAN inc. and FIFA. In 2016, Jane was appointed as a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit in the New Year’s Honours. And again in 2023, this time, as an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit. Both Honours recognise her achievements in service to sport. Jane is a proud and patriotic New Zealander with a lifelong love of sport. Jane was appointed to the Snow Sports NZ Board in September 2024. |
