Snow Sports New Zealand is the national sporting organisation representing the interests of adaptive snow sports, alpine ski racing, cross country skiing, freeskiing and snowboarding. Our purpose is to lead the growth and success of competitive snow sports in New Zealand. Our vision is to have New Zealand athletes consistently winning medals on the world stage. We work towards achieving this vision through our strategic plan.
Snow Sports NZ represent the interests of our sports nationally and internationally. We are a membership organisation and recognised by Sport NZ, the International Ski Federation (FIS), the International Paralympic Committee, the New Zealand Olympic Committee, Paralympics NZ, and other key international snow sports organisations.
We are a not-for-profit Incorporated Society (246217) operating in Wanaka, Otago. Please feel free to view our Annual Report Here.
The Snow Sports New Zealand Charitable Trust was established in 2017.
We are governed by a Board and a constitution. Our Sports Committees are responsible for providing sport specific input to the management team. A passionate team of highly specialised individuals work towards making this vision a reality. Check out our organisational structure here or read more about our staff here.
