The Junior Freestyle Nationals awards National Titles in all age divisions from U8 – U18.

Disciplines include Ski and Snowboard-cross, Slopestyle, Halfpipe Big Air and Park (rails). The event also includes the Overall Awards for the best all around freestyle skiers & Snowboarders by combining results from all the disciplines.

The Nationals is also the best way for competitors to learn how to compete at a National level before being considered for New Zealand Teams and progressing towards international competition. This event also brings the freestyle snow sports community and families together to share the fun of skiing and snowboarding.

This year there will be FIS ANC events for Open competitors, these events will be on from 28th - 29th September, with the 30th and 1st October as weather days. 

Age division events will be on from the 2nd - 4th October, with a weather day on Thursday, 5th October and awards party on Friday, 6th October. 

Competitors who choose to compete in the FIS ANC disciplines are also able to compete in the age divisions disciplines.

Open: 2009 and older

Competitors who choose to compete in the Open FIS ANC disciplines are also able to compete in their age divisions. Overall titles will only be awarded in age divisions.

Late entries and “On the day” (OTD) entries will be subject to a $15 late fee.

Any event registration fees refunded  will incur a $2 administration fee and 5% banking fee.
