Jesse Teat


Jesse started skiing at age 3 during holiday trips to Wanaka and at age 12 joined the Rotorua Ski Club at Whakapapa and started ski racing. In 1995 he moved to QAST and then the Wanaka Ski team in 2001.

Jesse won several national titles from 2001-2003 and skied NCAA DIV 1 for Western State College Colorado in 2000 and 2001. Her also competed at World Junior and World University Championships and the 2002 Winter Olympics Games in Salt Lake City  

Jesse has been a Snow Sports NZ Technical Delegate since 2008 and NZ Chef de Mission for Two Winter Youth Olympic Games in 2016 and 2020.
