Tommy Pyatt

Tommy is the Freeski Pathways Coach with the High Performance team. With more than a decade of experience and career highlights including coaching Miguel Porteous to an X Games silver medal and Nico Porteous to Olympic bronze, Tommy brings a wealth of knowledge to our team. 

Originally from the UK, and moving to Auckland at the age of eight, Tommy has since lived and worked all over the world. His coaching career started in the USA as a club level freestyle coach and he has been based in the States and travelled all over the northern hemisphere for many years. As well as top NZ skiers like the Porteous brothers, Tommy has worked with many talented international athletes like USA skiers Peter Raich and Troy Podmilsak.  

Outside of work he likes to get out in the back country on skins or his snow mobile, play a round of golf, bike and kite surf.
